Protesters decry cuts to provincial rental supplement program
A group of protesters and politicians has one message for the governing Saskatchewan Party: Reverse the cuts to the provincial rental supplement program and give more help to the homeless and at-risk people in the province.
The group gathered in the courtyard outside Saskatoon City Hall on Saturday morning.
The Saskatchewan Rental Housing Supplement is a provincial plan to help eligible families and individuals pay for housing by providing monthly payouts based on a number of different factors.
