Police use Taser in stolen vehicle arrest

Saskatoon police used a conducted energy weapon — also known as a Taser — before arresting the driver of a stolen car Tuesday.
Just after midnight, officers spotted the vehicle on the 400 block of Avenue R South, according to a police news release.
The vehicle was “out of Alberta,” the release notes.
While the man driving pulled over immediately, he allegedly got out of the stolen car and “confronted the police officers in an aggressive and threatening manner.&rdquo
