Police receive numerous reports of moose on the loose

Saskatoon police say a moose has been spotted in the city.
At roughly 9 a.m. on Friday, city police received several calls about a moose running west on 17th Street West near the Meewasin trials, according to a police news release.
A patrol officer arrived on scene and witnessed the moose leaving the area. Police note around 9 a.m., there were no further reports of the animal.
Saskatoon police say officers with the Ministry of Environment have also been notified about the animal.
