Police looking for dark-coloured van after boy injured in reported hit-and-run

City police are asking the public for help after a seven-year-old boy was injured in a hit-and-run.
At roughly 3:45 p.m. on Monday, officers were dispatched to Avenue T North and Rusholme Road for reports a car had hit a child, according to a news release from city police.
When police arrived, they found a seven-year-old boy suffering from injuries police say were serious, but not life threatening. Police indicate it was reported the victim was trying to cross Avenue T North when he was hit.
