Police investigating after man shot in leg in Saskatoon

A man was taken to hospital with injuries that were considered serious but not life threatening after a suspected shooting on Thursday morning.
The shooting in the 100 block of Avenue U South was reported to police around 4:45 a.m.
When officers arrived, they found a man in a nearby park with a gunshot wound to his leg. He was taken to hospital by ambulance and police said in a news release that an investigation is ongoing.
