On August 13, 2017 at 11:08 p.m., police observed a male walking at the intersection of 21st Street West and Avenue P South.  This male matched the description of a suspect sought in a robbery which occurred earlier in the evening (17-84600).  As officers approached on foot and attempted to stop the male he refused their commands and pointed bear spray towards the officers and sprayed in their direction. The members were exposed to the spray but attempted to pursue.
