Police arrest man after Taser deployed

A 31-year-old man was detained after Saskatoon Police deployed a conducted energy weapon — often referred to as a Taser — on Saturday night.
At 9:10 p.m. officers stopped a vehicle at the 2300 block of 8th Street East. As the driver had criminal and traffic warrants outstanding, officers attempted to make an arrest, at which point a police release said the man began assaulting one officer.
