Pilot project to bring free wi-fi to part of Saskatoon's inner city

Saskatoon city council's committees on transportation and environment, utilities and corporate services met Monday by video conference. Committee members considered matters including a pilot project to provide free wi-fi Internet service in a portion of Saskatoon's core neighbourhoods, a look at alternatives to having a city-run impound lot and a proposed expansion of a program to help people with physical limitations roll their garbage and recycling bins out on pickup days.
