Petrin appeal heard in first-degree murder conviction

The Saskatchewan Court of Appeal has heard the appeal of a man convicted in the fatal shooting of a Saskatoon mother of four who was the victim of mistaken identity.
Joshua Petrin, who is serving a life sentence with no chance of parole for 25 years, has always maintained his innocence in the death of Lorry Ann Santos in September 2012. He was found guilty in 2016 of first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder.
