Persephone Theatre opens a case of Joni Mitchell

Saskatoon’s Joni Mitchell summer continues with some help from Vancouver’s Firehall Arts Centre.
First, the University of Saskatchewan awarded the former city resident a honourary degree in absentia. There was Joni Mitchell day in June with the unveiling of two plaques. Now it’s the show Circle Game: Reimagining the Music of Joni Mitchell. It features a cast of actor-musicians with new spins on Mitchell classics like Big Yellow Taxi, River, California and A Case of You.
