Permanent downtown bike lanes estimated to cost $4.6 million

The price tag to design and build permanent protected bike lanes downtown is estimated at $4.6 million in a new City of Saskatoon report.
The cost is included in a report that will be considered by city council’s transportation committee Monday on implementing the city’s active transportation plan.
The $4.6 million is included in proposed spending of $10.28 million to expand the city’s cycling network over 11 years, starting in 2020.
