Pedestrian killed by vehicle on Ahtahkakoop First Nation

A 39-year-old woman is dead after she was struck by a vehicle on the Ahtahkakoop First Nation.
Shellbrook RCMP responded to a complaint of a pedestrian hit on Highway 790 around 8 p.m. Wednesday.
Initial investigation revealed a 39-year-old female pedestrian was struck by an eastbound vehicle. The pedestrian was transported by EMS to the Shellbrook hospital and was later was pronounced deceased.
