Paulsen: Banning plastic bags from recycling a confusing move

Throwing plastic into your garbage bin instead of recycling it is a modern day equivalent crime against humanity. However, it appears this is where Saskatoon is headed.
By the time you get around to reading this, you will no longer be allowed to put plastics bags into your recycling bin (the change comes into effect April 1). The solution: City council has told us we can just throw them into the garbage instead.
