Pancakes and Sporting Christmas: Sierras have a worthy tradition

Pancakes, and sausage, and the Salvation Army, oh my!
The wonderful folks at the Sierras of Erindale seniors’ condo have, for the last 16 years, gathered on a December morning for food and fellowship. They eat pancakes and sausages, with the proceeds going to Sporting Christmas; then they pass the figurative hat and take a big collection.
This year, they did it again — the Sierras’ coffee club paid for the ingredients, and “150 Sierra residents, family and friends”
