Onion Lake Cree Nation must release financial documents: court decision

The Onion Lake Cree Nation must publish its basic financial information in accordance with the First Nations Financial Transparency Act, a Saskatoon Court of Queen’s Bench judge ruled on Friday.
Onion Lake member Charmaine Stick has been seeking the financial information with help from the Canadian Taxpayers Federation. She launched a court application to have the documents made public back in November 2016.
