One dead, one critically injured in two single-vehicle crashes in Saskatoon

Speed is considered a factor in a single-vehicle crash that killed the sole occupant of a vehicle on Circle Drive near Preston Avenue.
The 20-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, which happened at about 12:45 a.m. Sunday.
Both police and fire crews responded to the scene, where firefighters stabilized the vehicle, which had sustained “major damage,” and used hydraulic extrication tools to gain access to the driver, according to a Saskatoon Fire Department news
