New trial ordered for man acquitted in Willowgrove shooting

The Court of Appeal has ordered a new trial for a man acquitted of all charges related to a shooting in Saskatoon’s Willowgrove neighbourhood.
Landon Henry Arthur Letendre, 44, was charged with assault with a weapon and several other weapon-related offences after a shot was fired at a multi-unit building in the 1000 block of Patrick Crescent on Jan. 26, 2015. Court heard it may have had something to do with a drug deal and stolen electronics.
