New Saskatoon bus route to connect to health services

Saskatoon Transit is trying to make it easier for people to get to medical and health facilities.
The city is now testing a new bus route that will provide service to eight locations every 45 minutes on weekdays between the hours of 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
“We’ve been looking at this for a while,” Saskatoon Transit director Jim McDonald said.
The key to the experiment was the arrival of shorter buses that weigh less, he noted.
