New pilot program launched for preschool students who are deaf or hard of hearing

A new pilot program in Saskatchewan will serve as a boost for students who are deaf or hard of hearing and their families.
On Friday, the provincial government announced it will launch programs for students who are deaf or hard of hearing, providing support as they build “communication and social skills.” A half-day program will operate in Saskatoon and Regina, providing spaces for up to 32 children ages three and four.
