Nature Conservancy Canada offers free Christmas trees

Still in the market for an old-fashioned Christmas tree? Nature Conservancy Canada (NCC) is offering the chance to chop one down for free.
The tree harvest takes place on Saturday from 1 p.m. to  3 p.m. on the NCC’s Messier property — a 40-minute drive northeast of Saskatoon. The goal is to remove as many invasive spruce trees as possible from the property. 
Anyone is welcome to join the harvest — signup spots are available on the NCC’s website —
