Multiple impaired driving charges result from checkstop

The Saskatoon Police Service conducted a sobriety checkpoint on Friday night (December 22nd).  Over a 4-hour period, police checked just over 500 drivers.  Of those, 3 now face charges of impaired driving and one faces an additional charge of failing to comply with a breath demand.In addition, 2 other drivers faced immediate 3-day roadside suspensions and a vehicle impoundment for having a blood alcohol content that exceeded 40 milligrams percent (.04).  Police wish to r
