MPs to vote on homelessness strategy private member's bill next month

Saskatoon MP Sheri Benson said she is “very hopeful” that a private member’s bill she has sponsored that would require the federal government to form a special committee to address homelessness will pass next month.
If that happens, Bill M-147 would require members of Parliament from all parties to be appointed to a committee that would speak with experts and people who have experienced homelessness in order to create a plan to end and prevent homelessness in Canada.
