Motorcycle rider injured in crash on Gordie Howe Bridge

A motorcyclist has suffered serious injuries after a collision with a car on the Gordie Howe Bridge late Sunday night.
 
Emergency workers arrived at the scene shortly before 11 p.m. after a motorcycle apparently ran into the rear end of a car in the westbound lanes of the bridge, near the Valley Road exit.
Police reported Monday morning that the motorcycle rider, 21, was in hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The 17-year-old driver of the car reportedly suffered minor injuries.
