Morning house fire caused by light bulb against wood panelling
A Tuesday morning house fire in Saskatoon that killed a dog was accidentally ignited by a light bulb coming in contact with wood panelling.
Firefighters were called to the home on Dickey Crescent around 6:23 a.m.
The first engine crew that responded saw heavy smoke and flames coming from the back of the home. A fire department news release said initial reports indicated the house had already been evacuated.
