More than 20 kittens found abandoned in Saskatoon alley

The sight of a few kittens wandering into a SCAT Street Cat Rescue program volunteer’s yard last weekend led to the discovery of more than 20 kittens.
“Some of them crawled into her yard from the alley where they had been dumped,” SCAT vice-president Heather Ryan said on Thursday while visiting the Western College of Veterinary Medicine (WCVM), where she had taken two of the sickest kittens for extra treatment.
