More people in Saskatoon using transit services
Saskatoon Transit appears to be on track to recover the riders it lost after a lockout four years ago.
Ridership rose by 8.4 per cent through the first 11 months of 2018, which could mean city buses provided as many rides last year as in 2013: 9.4 million.
Ridership dropped to a low of 8.2 million in 2014, the year when the buses stopped for a month during a lockout of transit workers and recovered slowly in the following years.
