Man's death in Saskatoon now being investigated as homicide

Saskatoon police are now investigating the death of a 28-year-old man as a homicide.
A heavy city police presence was in the 100 block of Avenue P South early Wednesday morning, investigating what police deemed a suspicious death. Police received a report about an injured man in the area of Avenue P South between 21st and 22nd Streets and went to the scene around 4:30 a.m., according to a police media release.
