Man sentenced in March death of Athahkakoop woman

A 30-year-old man has been sentenced to 324 days in jail in connection with the death of a woman from the Ahtahkakoop First Nation.
Danny Lee Ledoux pleaded guilty to one count of aggravated assault on Nov. 27 in Prince Albert Provincial Court. Ledoux had been facing a second-degree murder charge in the death of Cindy Joseph, 28.
