Man lost upper lip, nose in shooting, attempted murder trial hears

When Const. Andrew Ritza saw someone lying in a yard in Saskatoon’s Pleasant Hill neighbourhood, he noticed the man’s upper lip and nose were missing.
Police had received a call about someone being shot in the 300 block of Avenue R South. Blood stained the fence of the yard where the injured man was found, Ritza testified in Saskatoon Court of Queen’s Bench on Tuesday.
