Man escapes RCMP custody at Yorkton hospital

Yorkton Rural RCMP are looking for a 33-year-old man who escaped their custody at a Yorkton hospital on Sunday evening.
Officers from the Yorkton Rural RCMP detachment escorted the man, who RCMP described as a prisoner requesting medical attention, to a hospital in Yorkton at 4:45 p.m.
At around 5:45 p.m., the man escaped custody out of the back of the hospital. According to RCMP, the man ran south while he was still handcuffed.
