Man charged after home hit with bear spray

A 19-year-old man is facing assault and weapons charges after a reported break-and-enter during the early hours of Wednesday morning.
Police say at roughly 1:30 a.m., officers were sent to a residence in the 400 block of Avenue R South for reports of a person attempting to break in.
When officers arrived, they found the door had been kicked in and bear mace had been sprayed inside the home.
