Man accused of killing cellmate at Sask. Pen denied parole again

Chris Van Camp was double bunked with Tyler Vandewater at the Saskatchewan Penitentiary shortly after he re-entered custody.
On June 7, Van Camp, 37, was found beaten, stabbed, and wrapped in bags and blankets, according to a new Parole Board of Canada decision denying Vandewater’s bid for statutory release. Vandewater, 29, was charged with second-degree murder after Van Camp was later pronounced dead.
