Lloydminster eligible for Saskatchewan government disaster relief

More than a month after the border city was hammered by heavy rains, the City of Lloydminster has confirmed that residents can file claims with the Saskatchewan government for disaster relief.
In a news release issued early Wednesday, Lloydminster officials said those residents living on the Saskatchewan side of the border can apply to the government’s Provincial Disaster Assistance Program following the June 9 rains.
