Lions leading Roughriders 22-3 at halftime

The Saskatchewan Roughriders ended their pre-season schedule in ugly fashion Friday, losing 42-10 to the host B.C. Lions.
The game got away from the Riders in the second quarter, when the Lions’ Jonathon Jennings threw three touchdown passes in just under 10 minutes.
The Lions opened the scoring at 9:20 of the first quarter when Ty Long registered a single on a missed field-goal attempt from 35 yards away.
