Naloxone
Re: “Province makes naloxone available to public without pharmacist involvement” (SP, May 17). Jim Reiter wants to be sure that naloxone is made easily available without prescription so that overdose victims can be treated quickly and their lives saved.
My question is this: Why do I and many others with anaphylactic reactions to nuts, fish, insect stings and other life-threatening allergies have to have a prescription for an EpiPen, then pay as much as $150 to acquire one? O
