Parking enforcement around city parks
I am writing in hopes of getting the word out about the city bylaw regarding parking in alleys.
We recently attended our son’s soccer practice at Greystone Park. At the end of practice upon returning to our vehicle a commissionaire was placing a ticket on our window. We were parked in the alley alongside the park, as were many other vehicles.
In asking him what the problem was he said you cannot park in any alley. The fine is $50 and non-negotiable. I
