Nuclear weapons are an ever-present threat
The nuclear warning in Hawaii turned out to be a false alarm. Those who were sanguine enough to want to take better notice of the bunkers on the island on their next holiday or who just didn’t realize the magnitude of the potential disaster are ostriches burying their heads in the sand.
If/when the real alarm sounds, God help us all. There will be no running for cover. At the very least, we should be urging our government to support the abolition
