Re: “U of S Medical School Can’t Cover Deficit,” Aug. 2:
Our government values the College of Medicine and its grads. Since 2007, we’ve provided nearly $165M to address its accreditation challenges, invested nearly $30M in additional funding for undergraduate and post-graduate medical training, substantially increased the training seat capacity for undergraduates, and doubled seat capacity for post-graduates.
To ensure the College’s accreditation stability, $20M in
