Letter of the Day: Tank informs well on budget

Re: Budget votes are important in a democracy (SP, Dec. 2).
Kudos to columnist Phil Tank.
Otherwise, how many of us would remember that our tax-hungry city councillors have hiked taxes more than 26 per cent in the last five years?
Or that they, as Tank reports, “discontinued the practice of holding a final, official vote on the budget and property tax increase in 2015?”
Or that the 2018 Budget “included a net increase of about 30 full-time employees?” That’s on top
