If the reporting is correct Saskatoon citizens may be paying an additional amount on their property taxes in 2018 to enable a rapid response mobility team to clean sidewalks in some residential neighbourhoods after a heavy snowfall. Why? Apparently, door hangers left on houses will help remind residents that the snow removal bylaw in this city requires sidewalks to be cleared within 48 hours of a snowfall.
