Letter of the Day: 'Rant' description reveals bias

Having read Austin M. Davis’s column on “The State of Race” (SP, Dec. 28), I find it interesting that he describes most every statement attributed to John Gormley as a “rant” yet nothing that U of R president Vianne Timmons or professor Michelle Stewart says as such.
