The Canadian Revenue Agency trusts the internet to securely deliver our tax returns. Our banks trust the internet to send e-transfer payments between individuals. Our stock exchanges trust the internet to allow buyers and sellers to make highly confidential transactions. So why is it that our political system doesn’t trust the internet to allow us to participate in political decisions?
