Letter of the Day: Joni Mitchell deserves honour

The hullabaloo over naming River Landing after Joni Mitchell is fascinating, I’m sure. The naysayers are just as interesting, very interesting indeed. Well I need to wade in here and say, “Shame on you.” Give a girl her due. No one is more outspoken then Bob Dylan and he won a Nobel Prize.
I am happy to have an icon like Joni Mitchell admit she started her singing career here. It has a nice ring to it. I could say Gordie Howe, but I am in the deep south and nobody plays hockey
