Letter of the Day: I Am the Bridge campaign matters

I want to compliment the City of Saskatoon for the I Am The Bridge anti-racism campaign.
Given some of the comments I have seen in the media, I think it is important to point out what a brave act this is for the city, and for everyone involved in it.
The fact that people are talking about racism and white privilege is proof enough that this is a conversation that needs to be out in the open, not ignored. To those who consider this campaign divisive I would ask how one could make it any gentler a
