Letter of the Day: Honouring Ritz is laughable

I agree 100 per cent with Joyce Neufeld’s letter in the Dec. 12 StarPhoenix that Gerry Ritz shouldn’t be inducted into the Agriculture Hall of Fame.
When he was in parliament, he did more damage than good for prairie farmers. Ritz getting rid of the Canadian Wheat Board was one of the worst things that happened in the history of Canada’s agricultural industry.
It wasn’t what the majority of farmers wanted, so why did he do it? Only Mr. Ritz can answer that.
