Letter of the Day: Governor general too opinionated

It appears that the role of the governor general in Canada has now changed. All previous governors general have been authorities of unification for Canadians by voicing respect for all varieties of opinion. The current governor general is voicing support of one opinion only and voicing distance from any other opinion. This shows a complete lack of understanding of the unification role of this office.
