Letter of the Day: Choose a reasonable standard speed limit

I drove over the new Chief Mistawasis Bridge. The speed limit changes as many as five times, ranging from 50, 60, 70 back to 60 then 50 again. I have not seen a city that has so many different speed zones.
Recently, the police had a radar unit out on Valley Road, as they have done many times. (No, I didn’t get a ticket.) The speed limit goes from 90 coming off the freeway down to 30 then back up to 60, then back to 90 again, and yes they are giving out tickets. The speed limit on this sect
