Lawton leads at Scotties provincials

Saskatoon’s Stefanie Lawton had a 3-1 record after Wednesday’s afternoon draw at the provincial Scotties Tournament of Hearts in Melfort.
With action in the Wednesday evening draw not available at press time, Lawton was in first place.  Three teams were tied at 2-1 — those skipped by Sherry Anderson of Saskatoon, Robyn Silvernagle of North Battleford and Chantelle Eberle of Regina.
