Late thaw causes delay in preparing city's recreation fields
Users of Saskatoon’s recreation fields have to wait slightly longer than usual before they can start enjoying some outdoor summer activities.
Andrew Roberts, manager of special use facilities and capital planning for the city, said the late thaw has left staff about two weeks behind in their spring preparations of the city’s recreation fields and golf courses.
