Late night basement fire in Erindale causes $200,000 in damages

The Saskatoon Fire Department were called to a fire at a house in the Erindale neighbourhood Tuesday night, according to a news release.
Crews were called to the fire just before 10 p.m. on the 100 block of Epp Avenue. The crew first to arrive on scene noticed flames inside a basement window at the front of the house.
The incident commander was able to determine the body of the fire was in the basement. It was decided the best method of attack was to take the fire down from outside through the b
